Sonic's Alpha part 4

Sonic the Hedgehog soon found himself having the best night of his life! Never before had there been anyone out there that could give him a real run for his money in a race! And now, he just so happen to be racing against three!

They'd all hit supersonic speeds a little while back, with Scourge and Sonic in the lead.  Heck, if he didn't know any better, he'd say they were all his clones only with different fur. He loved every minute of the adrenaline rush that he was getting and the cool night air slicing through his quills. He could see the smirks on their faces as well. They were enjoying it too. 'Where have they been all my life!?' He thought as they approached the towering palace not too far in the distance, the half moon behind it making it look all the more menacing. Sonic's eyes widened and he gulped, finally remembering his predicament. He wasn't racing towards Eggman's newest hideout or anything. He was running to meet a vampire, the Vampire King to be exact!! What the heck was he in a hurry for!?!?

He cast a glance over at Scourge and sure enough, the green hedgehog was watching him out the corner of his eye, obviously having heard what he was thinking. Sonic tensed, looking ahead and much to his dismay, they were all at the front gate within seconds with the blue and emerald blurs tying at the 'finish line'.

The large black iron gate opened with a groan, allowing them entrance to the inside.

As the three walked past, Manic playfully elbowed Sonic in the ribs saying, "Not bad, Blue. I'm impressed."

"Uh…thanks?" Sonic sweat dropped, not knowing what else to say at the moment. He was just in complete awe at the sheer size of the palace. The darn thing looked as big as a friggin' football stadium!!!  The three vamps entered without hesitation, however, Sonic was a little bit hesitant (if you were forced to meet a vampire, wouldn't you be!?). He took a step inside but when the gate slammed shut behind him, he shot off, instantly catching up with the others.

"Jeez, relax Blue," Scourge chuckled. "That gate's automatic."

"I knew that!" he argued, his quills standing up, making him resemble a spooked cat.

"Of course you did," Sonia giggled.

Two vampires, wolves actually, guarded the front doors of the palace and stood aside when the four hedgehogs approached, casting glances down at Sonic when he walked by. Scourge pushed the enormous palace doors open with little effort.  They all stood in the center of the room for a moment, looking down the long corridors which led off in various directions.

"I can sense the king is in the throne room," Scourge announced, perking his ears up before walking straight ahead.

Sonic felt like he was in a Halloween movie stuck on replay. It was cold and dark inside; blood red carpet aligned the floors. Cobweb decorated chandeliers adorned the ceilings, their bulbs dimly lighting the area every ten feet or so. Tall windows with thick crimson draperies aligned both sides of the hall, only drawn back to let in the moonlight to light the way.

As the three walked on in silence, Sonic had time to think.

'I remember them saying that the Alpha Vampire didn't want me hurt,' he thought. 'I wonder why? And what does he want with me?'

"Hey, guys?" he said suddenly to get rid of the bone-chilling silence.

Their ears perked up at attention.

"Just…just what is the king like?"

Before either of the guys could answer, Sonia jumped in, "Oh! Don't get me started on him!!"

"W-well, what do you mean?" he asked, with hesitation and fear in his voice. Just what the world was he getting himself into!?

"He's as hot as hell is what I mean!!" she smiled, giving a fan girlish squeal. Sonic just raised a brow as he walked beside the ogling vampiress.

"Heh, if he was available, I'd chase after him for the rest of eternity!!!" she giggled. Sonic sighed, saying to himself, 'And I'd know exactly how he feels.' referring to the pink stalker back home. Manic just remained silent as he listened to every word Sonia said, although fuming on the inside.

"Well, too bad he's got a mate, now pipe down!!" Scourge snapped. "We're here."

Sonic the Hedgehog prepared himself for the worst and put on his game-face as Sonia and Manic pushed open the large double doors.

Sonic stepped inside with the others and could barely make out a silhouette of someone just ahead, but other than that, darkness.

"We have brought the blue hedgehog you requested, Excellency," Scourge announced.

Crimson eyes suddenly snapped open within the gloom and Sonic could feel his blood run cold. When the being slowly stood and descended the stairs from his lofty throne, the other vampires bowed in submission as he approached. But, Sonic was frozen on the spot; he couldn't move!! It was like he was being hypnotized by those glowing red orbs.

And then, out of the shadows, stood the Alpha Vampire and it nearly took Sonic's breath away.

The Alpha was a hedgehog as black as midnight. Crimson streaks adorned his quills, arms, and legs, the largest located within his head quills. His tan muzzle hid his piercing fangs and a patch of white fur complemented his muscular chest. A blood red cape draped across one of his shoulders and rings of gold adorned his wrists and ankles, complementing his hoverskates. White fingerless gloves displayed his sharp claws and a gold crown sat atop his noble brow. But, his eyes were what caught Sonic the most; his glowing eyes were like a raging fire. No wonder he was the Alpha, the other Hedgehog looked positively amazing!

'Sonia was right,' was all that Sonic could say mentally. 'Man, forget that he's a vampire, he's HOT!!!' Sonic thought to himself! He had perfect lips, perfect quills, perfect teeth (fangs included), and that body was just to die for! Oh, but he just wanted to get his hand on him, on that silky fur of his… to play with that little tuff of fur on his chest. Run his hands over his solid shoulders, down to his hard abs, then his waist… Sonic swallowed and tried to clear his 'R-rated' thoughts. XD

"Good evening, Sonic the Hedgehog, we meet at last," his deep, powerful, resonant voice sounded out. Even his voice was sexy! He stopped two feet in front of the blue blur, his voice snapping Sonic from his 'fan girl trance'. And he stood at least two feet taller than Sonic, which made his all the more sexy and all the more intimidating.

"H-how do you know my name?" the azure male managed to ask, his ears folding down submissively as he looked up at the slightly taller male. He was always more shy around guys anyways. He was always open with meeting girls back home, but when it came to guys, he stuck to the wall like a leech.

"I am the Alpha Vampire," was his answer. "I know everything that goes on in the land of the mortals. And that includes the name of the fastest thing alive." Sonia, Manic, and Scourge had since stepped back a few feet to put distance between them and the king out of sheer respect.

"My name is Shadow  the Hedgehog, by the way," he added.

"Shadow, huh? I-it suits you," he chuckled nervously. "It's nice to meet you," he added, taking a few steps towards him to shake his hand. But, the next thing he knew, he had three VERY pissed off vampires standing in his way, hissing their tails off!!

Sonic quickly withdrew his hand, for fear of having it bit off, thinking, 'WTF!?'

'O…kay, note to self: Do NOT touch the Vampire King,' he mentally added. Apparently, you could only get so close to the guy.

Shadow cleared his throat behind them, catching their attention.

"Leave us," he demanded, glaring at them with slightly annoyance. Scourge, Sonia, and Manic quickly sensed this and bowed, leaving the room, but not before glancing at Sonic on the way out.

The blue mobian hedgehog looked scared as they left, as his emerald green eyes pleading for them not to leave him alone. Shadow chuckled when he saw this; his so called guest was frightened. Sonic heard the bone-chilling chuckle as the doors closed, leaving the two alone. The blue hedgehog wanted to use this opportunity to escape, but for some reason, he really didn't want to leave. He would be a fool to even try running when Shadow was so close by, anyway. Shadow saw the panic grow when emerald green eyes met crimson red.

Again, came that deep chuckle, "Don't worry, Sonikuu, I don't bite..." Shadow replied before adding, "Much."

Sonic blushed like crazy, 'Did…did he just say what I think he said!?'

Okay, this was getting uncomfortable.

"So, uh, Sha--" was as far as Sonic got before Shadow kissed him.

Sonic was shocked and broke it off. "What the hell!? What was that for!?" he yelled at Shadow, his lips having a tingling sensation and his face as red as Knuckles. He admitted that he liked it, but that was something he would take to the grave before he'd let anyone find out.

"Do you even realize why you have been brought here tonight?" Shadow asked, casually crossing his arms and ignoring Sonic's question on purpose.

"No... why?" Sonic answered hesitantly, still blushing.

"Because I wanted to see my mate..." Shadow suddenly said from behind him, his arms around his waist, whispering in Sonic's ear, sexually.

Sonic gasped when he suddenly felt Shadow's body pressed against his own. He was frozen one the spot, his mind going haywire as Shadow explored his body with curious hands.

"W-what...what are you talking about?" Sonic managed to say, his breath hitching up when Shadow softly raked his claws through the fur on his belly, slightly tickling the abs underneath.

"I have been watching you for a long time, Sonikuu," Shadow purred into his neck, his hand traveling down a slightly curved hip as the other continued to rub his belly. Sonic tried to stifle back a moan when he did, but failed horribly.

When the hand on his stomach decided to go lower, Sonic quickly grabbed it, barely managing to say, "Shadow, wait...please, wait."

Shadow stopped and smiled softly, though it was a pained smile, before placing a gentle kiss on Sonic's jawline and slowly letting him slip out of his grip.

Sonic managed to catch his breath, his ears still folded, as he said, "I  don't understand any of this."

Shadow approached him yet again, cupping Sonic's cheeks in his hands until he reached Sonic's soft lips and sealed them with his own. Sonic began to kiss back enjoying the every second. The kiss ended about 10 seconds later, due to the lack of oxygen in Sonic's lungs since Shadow didn't need to breathe. The kiss was soft and simple, but it was still enjoyable for the two of them. They both looked into each other's eyes afterwards, ruby looking into emerald, emerald into ruby.

"You will in due time, my love."
